The Northwest Spay and Neuter Center (NWSNC) is pleased to announce that planning efforts are well underway for their 2019 Whiskers Wine & Dine gala, which will be held Saturday, March 9 th at the McGavick Conference Center on the Clover Park Technical College campus. With an expected attendance of more than 400, tickets and sponsorships are already available for purchase.
The Northwest Spay and Neuter Center is located in Tacoma and serves dogs and cats throughout the South Sound. The organization provides high-quality, low-cost spay and neuter services. To accommodate those with limited transportation, they offer a shuttle service to provide easy and affordable access.
Their 2018 event raised nearly $150,000 to help offset the cost for spay and neuter services for our Pierce County pets, preventing overpopulation and minimizing animal euthanasia.
This year’s fundraising goal has been set at $250,000, and event planning efforts have been expanded significantly. Whiskers Wine & Dine’s new brand and targeted marketing approach takes the event to a new level. The event website offers easy access to tickets, and sponsorships, as well as information on the event’s generous sponsors.
The Doty Group has joined in sponsoring, along with companies such as Comcast, Express Employment Professionals, Laura Fox with Kidder Mathews, Physicians Compliance Connection, Redfin and HomeAdvisor have already secured their sponsorship for the 2019 event. The event is actively seeking a variety of donations for the live and silent auctions. Past items have ranged from vacation packages to spa baskets. To donate an item, click here. The event itself will include wine and beer tastings, curated luxury auction items, a plated gourmet meal, and interactive activities for every price point.
The Northwest Spay and Neuter Center has enlisted the team of Tairis Group to lead event planning and communication efforts, with additional creative support provided by MadCap Marketing + Creative. Day-of auction support will be provided by Ducks in a Row Events.
Each year, the Northwest Spay and Neuter center will serve more than 13,500 dogs and cats with NWSNC having to offset the cost of every surgery or service we perform in some way. The funds raised at Whiskers, Wine & Dine go directly to support the key operations of the clinic. 2019 marks the 16th year for Whiskers Wine & Dine.
Since the original publication of this release, they have secured 4 vendors providing tasting experiences: Harmon Brewing, Guardian Cellars, Klickitat Canyon Winery and Madsen Cellars. These will all happen during the silent auction, which will be followed by a plated Vegan or Vegetarian meal provided by Jonz Catering.
