Employee Spotlight: Virginia Davis - Tax Supervisor

Q: When did you start at The Doty Group; how long have you been working there?

I started in 2020. And I have worked at The Doty Group for over two years.

Q: What is your current role at The Doty Group? Take us through a typical day.

I am a Tax Supervisor who works in the Tax Department. My typical day includes preparing different tax returns and doing the first review. I am also a tax coach in the office, so that I will help our new hires with their workload in tax.

Q: What have you gained from working at The Doty Group? Can you describe the career growth you’ve experienced?

Since working at The Doty Group, I have gained a great community and a wonderful work environment. At The Doty Group, I have been able to experience new growth in my career by working in more industries and being exposed to different opportunities.

Q: What is your favorite thing about working at The Doty Group?

My favorite thing about working at The Doty group is the people. It is just an inviting office, and everyone here makes sure you feel welcome.

Q: What are your favorite things to do outside of the office?

I enjoy getting outside and enjoying the beautiful nature around us!
