Doty Welcomes New State and Local Tax Expert
The Doty Group has recently welcomed Tax Supervisor David Volkert to the team. David's focus is in taxation with a specific expertise in state and local tax (SALT). Throughout his 12 years of experience in accounting, he has worked on compliance and consulting projects for companies within the construction, manufacturing, and wholesale/distribution industries.
A native of Seattle, David is a graduate of Seattle Central College and Central Washington University. Outside of the professional world, he races bicycles in a few different disciplines, goes backpacking with his wife, and is into photography and cooking. He also spends time with the Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance, Washington Trails Association, American Alpine Club, and The Mountaineers – usually out building and maintaining trails.
