Sami's journey began with a solid educational foundation. He earned his Bachelor of Management from the University of Lethbridge, which laid the groundwork for his future success in the field of accounting. However, education was just the beginning of Sami's impressive career.

Sami's career took a fascinating turn as he delved into the world of forensic accounting. Over the last eight years, he has been dedicated to investigating financial irregularities and fraud detection. His expertise in this area has been refined through roles held in Canada and overseas, including a significant tenure with a Big 4 accounting firm. This experience has made him a formidable force in the field, with a keen eye for uncovering financial misconduct.

Beyond his professional roles, Sami has demonstrated a solid commitment to community service. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors for two non-profit organizations, contributing to their growth and success. His dedication to financial literacy is also evident through his involvement in the CPA Canada Financial Literacy Program since 2014. As a financial literacy presenter, he has helped individuals grasp fundamental financial concepts, empowering them to make informed decisions.

Sami is an active member of various professional organizations, including the American Institute of CPAs, the Washington Society of CPAs, CPAs of Canada, and CPAs of British Columbia. These affiliations not only keep him updated with the latest industry trends but also provide him with a network of peers and mentors to exchange ideas and expertise.

Sami holds both US and Canadian CPA licenses, along with the accreditations of Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), specializing in fraud prevention and detection, and is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), making him well-versed in anti-money laundering measures, and Chartered Accountant (CA) giving him a robust experience in accounting, both local and internationally.

We are pleased to welcome Sami to the team and look forward to a long-tenured relationship advancing the accounting industry.
